Default aic and temp control

Hey fellows was wondering if the aic works with the control panel for turning your heat on and off in the truck. When my heat or ac is in the off position everything is fine a little bit of a high idle on start but within 20 seconds or so comes down and idles and drives fine. If i turn my heat on or ac it wants to stall and i have to feather the gas. Is it a bad vacuum or bad sensor. If it is very cold 25 f or less it really idles high when cold then when the truck warms up it will act okay, but when the outside temp warms up it will not idle without me helping it. I'm planning on changing some sensors soon was just hoping to get the right one.

AIC has nothing to do with it. Your truck should idle a little high on startup for about 30 seconds.
Could be a vac leak for the stalling issue, im not sure.
