My clutch burned out yesterday on my 1988 f150 and i am goin to replace it. Any suggestions on any particular clutch assembly i should purchase or any tips at all really...Thanks all

P.S. - An experience friend of mine is helping me do the work, i just would like to find out recommendations on what to purchase and any background information that happens to come with the recommendation.

Get the 11 inch clutch and you'll never have to change it again. It will bolt right up in place of the 10 incher.

Go with a centerforce dual friction or a bwd brute force, they are hd clutches.
