I've seen the mirrors in the salvage yards but they are often broken. There are brand new OE style aftermarket ones on eBay for under $100/pair. Next time I'm out junkyarding I'll try to get the harness if I have time. Most of the trucks in the junkyards seem to be standard XL models but I have seen a couple Eddie Bauers and Broncos equipped with the mirrors.

Are all of the plastic mirrors with the chrome fronts power mirrors?? If so that's what mine has but I don't have power mirrors. Is the motor and wiring already in them??

no, the wiring is not there and not all mirrors with the chrome cap are power. my 96 150 had manual mirrors but the 97 250 and 92 150 both had power, all 3 have the same LOOKING mirrors.

if your good at sourcing parts, less then $75 (mirrors will be hard to find cheap)
What would you call this Harness? I want to add Power Mirrors to mine,so I'm going to need to find one some where. And since there isn't any good Salvage Yards around here I'm going to have to look Online I guess. But it seems Ford would have made just 1 Harness for the Doors Power Options, and then just Plug in what the Option Sheet called for.

there are 3 door harnesses, 1 for XL trucks with manual windows/locks, 1 for XLT trucks with power windows/locks and then the last 1 has the locks, windows and mirrors.

the harness is 2 piece, 1 side is the drivers door, and along the firewall. the other end is just the passenger door. it plugs into the dash wiring harness behind the kick panels on each side.

picture of a harness i pulled from 1 of my trucks.

If mine had the power mirrors already I might go through the trouble of adding them but seeing as I'm the only one who drives it and the seat never moves they are far from necessity. Thanks for the info though. Your F150 knowledge has come a long way in the years since I met you Cam.
