im about to repair the AC system in the '93.
Can someone familiar with the system make sure these are the right parts i need before dropping $200?
I need: A new compressor w/ clutch, Drier and Orifice Tube.

Hello, I am also replacing the same parts on my 93 f150 with factory air. I bought the kit online at <discountacparts.com> for $245. If you had catastrophic compressor failure or "black death" of the system everything I can read states that the hoses should be replaced and the evaporator and condenser units should be flushed.
My truck has the threaded connections on the accumulator.

catastrophic? what the hell does that mean? mine was just a slow failure over time. im keeping the hoses because they are still holding the freon and there are no leaks. but it is getting a vaccum and a flush.

I would replace all the o-rings while rebuilding the ac system.
