Question Headlight Cleaner

I have a yellowish film covering the outside part of my headlight lenses. Anyone know how to remove this?

I had it real bad on my 93 ranger, wet sand the haze off w/1000 up to 2000, then rubbing and polish compound will make em look new. You can even buy 'kits' out there I've seen at wally world that basically contain the same materials.

I used a cleaner called soft scrub with bleach in it.... you take a rough textured sponge, scrub it real good onto the headlights, let it set for a few seconds, and wipe it off! the soft scrub has little cleaning bead like ball things in it lol it worked really well on my truck though.... its cheaper than the headlight restorer kits.... you can get soft scrub at wal mart, family dollar, etc.... I even used soft scrub as wax on the back of my door mirrors, and it made them dark shiny black again
