Default 96 to 93 engine swap

so i put the 96 engine into the 93. I changed over the wiring and all the other good bits. Now i've got it turning over but it won't start. Starter is good, plugs are new, lots of fuel to engine. Can anyone suggest something i should be looking at ?

Firing order correct for the engine?

Have you pulled a plug and rested it against the block (in one of the wires) and turned the engine over to see if you're getting spark? Be careful haha

Checked timing? (hard to do with starter I suppose)

What all have you tried?

Are we talking 96 mustang 3.8L into a 93 f150?

If so I'd like to see pictures of that.

Did you swap the headlight/alternator harness over as well. I did a 94 into a 92, and needed to swap that harness for the alternator.
