It's a bracket that goes under the blocks

 

Damn those blocks always look like if the u-bolts loosened at all, the blocks would fly out. Seems like the blocks should have eyelets to hold onto the ubolt.

 

thats pretty simple, never thought about doing it like that. thanks for the pictures, also your inbox is (or was atleast) full.
