Default '95 Towing Package

Hi all,

What extra equipment was included in the towing package option in 1995? If it matters, truck is a regular cab, I6 with E4OD transmission. Thanks.

from my understanding a frame mounted hitch and a transmission cooler. some people think they also came with larger radiators, and trans pans but i cant confirm either 1 of those.

Yea, I know a lot came with 3.55s, but I was under the impression that all tow packages had 3.55s.

I think cam nailed it. But here's for hoping that the trans cooler will add some extra life to the transmission! Wonder if the option was cheaper for a manual, I'd suspect so.

yes manual transmissions were cheaper, autos were an upgrade back then. and transmission coolers will definitely add life, especially to the E4OD.

Wow trucks were way cheaper back then. Loaded with all the options is the same price as a base model econo car of today.
