95 f 150 xlt body on a 87 f 150 4x4 frame
i have a 95 f 150 xlt with a good body for Iowa. Its a 2 wheel drive. I just bought a 87 f 150 xlt 351 ho W 4x4 with a junk body. Can i put the 95 body on the 87 frame?

The trucks both have the same cab, so all of the mounting points should be the same, except for the bumper. Like he mentioned the new frame wont have the crumple zones, so the horns are different which just means that you will probably have to drill need holes for the bumper, but im not 100% sure about that part.
There will also probably be wiring differences between the two.
So another question is, will you be swapping the interiors of the trucks? will you swap the engine and trans?

No I am planning to leave the 351 Ho carb and the c6 from the 87 in place after go and clean and reseal everything. Not impressed with the millage or the power of the 302. My 77 300 6 had more power

This shows the differences in the front frame horns:

It will take some effort & fabrication to put the '92-96 bumper on the '87-91 frame. Mating the wiring harnesses will make the bumper look like nothing.
