Default 95 302 starting problem

i've got a 1995 with the 302, and it'll start just fine 99 times.. but then that one time it dont wanna turn over. it'll crank, just wont turn over, then somthin under the hood faintly clicks (have to be standing outside leaned over the engine to hear it) and it starts right up after bout 6 or 7 trys. 2nd time its done this in 3 months, ended up startin both times. doesnt bother me that much, just dont wanna be on a date and it not wanna start in the middle of town lol. anybody know whats goin on? thanks.

Try letting a friend crank it when it does it next, so you can look for the clicking. Mine did this when I was leaving the movies once and it was a bad connection on the negative battery cable/terminal. If the clicking is what I think it is with yours, its the starter solenoid trying to kick over but not getting quite enough power to do it.

Is by the battery on the sidewall/inner fender. Mine looks like a round thing on a square base with some wires connected to it. I'll snap some pictures later if you have trouble finding it.
