The best method is to check the number and shape of the transmission pan if a auto. The manuals are easier to determine as there is basically only one five speed for the 150 with the 5.0 or 4.9 engines. The autos you must have the same type or plan on switching the transmission controller and wires. There are different 14 bolt transmissions the AOD and the AODE the E version has the OD off button while the non electric does not.
