Default 91 F150 charging problem

First post on here and I'm already being needy, my 91 f150 refuses to charge, I have replaced the battery, alternator, both alternator plugs and the relay that goes on the wheel well that the battery and the alternator hook to that runs to the starter. It would charge sometimes, like after I got a jump but then it would stop. does anyone have a diagram that shows where all of the wires from the alternator go? I have a book but it is very vague. When I bought the truck they had both of the big wires from the alternator going to the starter side of the relay, was this correct because I changed them to the battery side of the relay. I really need help.

It is the starter relay, I have all of the wires that go to it from the alternator on the battery side and there is a wire that comes from the other side that goes to the starter. Does anyone have a picture of the wiring of this charging system so I may check it with what I have?

We got it charging, we had to jumper the green and red wire which I believe is the exciter wire, but now I find that I have a draw somewhere so I have to track it down now, someone has told me to put a meter on the battery and start pulling the fuses to find the draw, does this sound right? Thanks for everyone input so far, this is an awesome site.
