Had the tranny rebuilt when 5th and reverse went out. Personally replaced slave cyl. 2nd acts like it's not synchd when shifting from third and 1st pops out if you don't hold it in. I had the retainer replaced for it too! So will a bleed do the trick? Or is it time to just let her go til it's time to toss in a refurb?

 

Sounds like the 1-2 shift fork may be worn. You don't have to pull the tranny to check or change it. The clutch bleeds itself as you drive.
