hey guys i ddont know if you had read my previous post or not but i just drove my $200 87 f150 from missouri 1700 miles to here in southern california....because it was a missouri truck and it sat in a field for a while before i got it....it needed some work! i have done a lot to it so far and i would post pics but i dont internet so im using my phone for what little internet i have lol....anyways does anyone know out of what years i can use a seat out of an f150 to replace mine? thanks!

also i forgot to ask.....i have swapped out seats in hondas but never in a truck....does anyoe know if its about the same concept? also if you have any other seats other than from a ford that you know would work im open to suggestions

You should be able to take seats out of any 87-91 f150 and pop right into your truck without modifications.

Although I'm not sure if it's the same from extended cabs and single cabs, but I'm sure others can answer that question!

I've swapped seats out in my ol' ranger just a few bolts and they'll be out.

my 90 has seats from a 92-96 model. i didnt do it, but they look bolt up.

yeah thats what i was kinda wondering is if i could go all the way up to 97 or if the rails were different....my seat is pretty much shot so i do need to figure something out! thanks

But keep in mind I have a supercab with front bucket seats, not a front bench. Might be different.

You can make '80-'96 work. F150s and Broncos. F250s and F350s with the same body style, the body style went on for those past '96. I'm not sure if the extra studs are there for swapping in buckets but you can always drill holes in the floor.
