5.0 Bronco starter problems
When my buddy turned the key on his bronco, it started right up, but the starter was still engaged and kept turning over while the engine was running. I know its prob a quick fix, but i'm not good with electrical stuff. So any advice would be helpful..Thanks

it sounds like the sater solinoid is froze in the on position, tap it with a wrench and it should stop
or it's the ign switch, there is a wire from the ign switch put a test light on the small wire in the front of the starter solinoid turn the key to start and see if it lights and then goes off after you release the key... if so the ign switch is good
or it's the starter staying ingaged (bad starter)
if the solinoid is on the starter then it's different... and you'd have to change the solinoid.

More than likely it's the solenoid. It's a common problem. DO NOT buy the parts store solenoid. They do the same thing brand new. I went through 7 of them before finally going to the junkyard to get a factory Motorcraft part. No problems since.
I am having the same problems, but with a f150 ford pickup 5.0. I have replaced several starters, solinoids, ignition switch, and nutrual safety switches. I am still having these problems. Any other suggestions?
