Default 351 lightning motor conversion

i have a 95 f150 automatic with a 5.0 and i was wondering how hard it would be and what i needed, to swap in a 351 windsor from a Lightning? if somebody could give some good advice i would be thankful.

Yup just what he said...motor, brackets on the front of the engine, and the computer. Everything else matches up.

how much different are the engines? like you u just put lightning heads on a regular enging?

compression ratio and camshaft is different and the ECM has a different setup...

so could you swap lightning stuff onto a regular 351? what would that entail? heads, ecm, intake, how about the cam?

You could swap the L stuff over to the regular 351W but it'll run you a pretty penny. The ease of swapping a 351L engine into a factory equipped 5.0 depends on the intake setup as well. You said 95, is it a speed density system or a mass air system?

difference between lightning engine and 302 is about 50-75 hp

Actually a factory 351W is rated at 225 while the 351 W L engine is rated at 240HP......so the difference is not THAT big....
