Default 302/331 Engine Build

So I have a 302 block that I currently have disassembled. The engine is out of an '88 F150. With as popular as the 5.0 is and as many vehicles as it was in, how many parts are usable between engines? I was mainly wondering if I could use a cold air intake for a mustang with this block. Its going back into a '89 F150 but its going to be gutted and should have plenty of room. Has anyone tried using mustang parts for a truck engine build?

You'd have to use the intake manifold off the mustang to use the cai off it and the heads are the same e7te I believe.
Far as internals its the same other than some mustangs used forged parts, but so did later model trucks

Alright. That's what I figured. I would be surprised if they were too different.
