The chip won't do a dang thing, the headers will pick you up a little power

Hahah.

Nothing against OP. Forums, I swear, should make it mandatory to do like, 5 searches before they can post...

There's nothing practical performance why's for this engine. You got the wrong vehicle for 'performance' mentality. The 300 was built for exactly what it's in. Made for longevity, reliability, and hauling loads in your pickup. Sure there has been a turbo set up or two put on one, but in a vehicle application. The 300 was put in cars too, but I dunno if they are internally built different.

The best you can do for your motor is get it as freshened up as you can if you got high miles. All your normal maintaince stuff. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new filters, new (synthetic) fluids, etc. These will pull back out some of his hp, tq, and start getting more miles per tank of gas. Multiple mpg increase doing all this in lot of cases.

Before you ask about motor swaps, better to just buy a truck with one in it. They are cheap to get. Upgrading to the 302 isn't worth the effort over the 300 so spring for a 351w or the 7.5L diesel. I have to imagine the 7.5L turbo diesel has some after market goodies...

Nothing against you, but you should have to pass an English/grammar test before posting on the Internet

why's? Really?

wise!

OP:

As with all parts you'll have change. Some will give, some will take, some will not do a damn thing!

If you do one thing, you should do another. If you are doing an intake, then you need to think about how is the engine going to exhale all the air that it just took in(is the stock system enough or will you need headers, cat, pipe, exhaust pipe)

I type quicker than I think. I also hate re-reading. It's gotten pretty normal that I get bashed for it lol.

If it doesn't have a red squiggling line under it...http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lybsknu2eC1qj6nqb.jpg

You could do a cam, bore, blah blah blah..or if your a cheap high school kid: ignition upgrade, home-made K&N intake, and dual exhaust....

or do some research on a turbo or supercharger, there are people that look for this engine specifically just to turbo.

all depends how much money you have and how much time your willing to spend
