3 inch body + Front leveling kit
Hey i am starting to work on my truck and am going to lift it with a 3 inch body and a front leveling kit. Its a 1994 F150 2wd. i wanted to get the tires bought so could put them on as soon as i finished lifting it. I just am not sure how big i can go? Some of my friends say i could fit 35's, other say 33's. I'm really not sure and dont want to waste my money and buy the wrong size. If anyone knows what size works or what the biggest size i could get under my truck i would really appeciate it. thanks
Ha!!! wish I would've seen this sooner!! I also have the same exact set up and vehicle...I just bought the tires today they're 35's but i've yet to mount them...so now what am I looking at with the 35's?
You should make it. Might have a little rub at full lock. Ive got 33x10.50 on a bone stock 95 4x4 and i just trimmed the valance a bit. But with a 3 inch body you will be able to clear the fenders and bumper. And the leveling kit will help a bit with the rubbing. But if ur goin wide its gonna rub a bit
Oh. And for the OP, fo with 33x12.00 or 12.50. Ur only 2wd. And with 33's youll get decent mileage and perfirmance. And you wont have to worry about rubbing at all and chewing up the inside of your tires
Cool...they're 35/12.50R15...pretty wide but nothing major. I do have a 3in body lift and additional suspension lift with gas shocks and such. It's going on the stock rims...my biggest concern is what it will do on the highway.

Yeah 94 Xlt 4x4 351(sorry I forgot to note that was our only diffrence...mine is a 4x4) The shocks are Monroe Reflex's. they have about 2 1/2 inches that add to ride height and 4 3/4 inches in travel.
