2 questions and a picture request
ok so i am putting together my truck which is a 92 flareside xlt supercab 302 auto and i put a 91 engine in becaue im rebuilding the 92 engine and i had to change a head because of a bolt that broke and i am wondering if they changed the heads in 92 from 91 because i put a 92 head on it and spark plugs face the opposite ways. second question is theres a vaccume hose (i think) hooked up to my brake pedal and the brake and clutch pedal im putting in does not have a mount for it... so do i need this, andd what does it do. and finally i am wondering if someone could give me a clear pictue of the engine bay with a 302 aircondictiond so i can get everything in the right place. thanks in advance for any help
Since the heads can go on either side then the plugs will point in the same direction (opposite on the other side). The vacuums are for the cruise control, it turns it off when you step on the brake or clutch. You don't want the engine racing when you push in the clutch.
