Default #2 injector ground wire???

1992 F150 4.9 I6 FI

I have a #2 cyl misfire,

I have already figered out the injector is not getting a pulse,

I called a guy that does this kinda thing
and he said since the other injectors are firing it sounds like the ground wire for that injector is bad and to replace it,
he said I could find that ground from the computer a cut it there and just run a new wire to the injector connector,

He said that would be better than trying to find the short in all the harnesses and spend big money just to find a short,

So my question is,

which wire is ground Yellow or Red? at the injector connector

Which slot # is it on the computer,

My book says 1 is #31 and the other is #59, but is doesnt say what is which is what.

Thanks,

That's a really stupid way to fix it. Test it at the plug and trace the wires to the factory splices. The factory splices do come apart and you would be exposing them anyways if you did run a new wire. Plus if a splice is bad it's only a matter of time before another injector wire comes loose.
