Default 1996 Engine Swap?

I've looking and buying my dads '96 F150 NW Edition that's really nice and clean. It has the 300 in it right now, which I find gutless. Is it a pretty easy swap to put a 351W or Cleveland in?

it'd be the 351W, I'd keep the 300, those are awesome. Do a search many people have done the swap.

I agree keep the 6. It's no speed demon but you won't find a stinger puller.

So if I decide to do a swap, is there any major issues with putting a 351W in? Will I need a need 5spd? Wiring different?

Of course the wiring is different, there's two more cylinders.
