Ive got auto locking hubs on my F150 and they are busted, I might try to take them apart and get them working again but I'd rather just get manual locking hubs. Does anyone know if I get some warn locking manual hubs will they go right where my autos did or will I need to change stuff/ get a conversion kit?

 

Fit right in with the conversion kit, kit is basically just different lock nuts.

 

it all depends on what auto hubs you have?? some has 3 bolts holding the cap on and some had 6

if yours has 3 you need the conversion kit.

my 92 had the 6 bolt auto hubs and the warns bolted right on

 

Thanks guys, I got the hubs and conversion kit in the mail. I didnt order the spindle nut socket, I'm hoping I wont need it but I should have them in by wednesday.

 

yeh my95 has the 3 bolt.....check prices, Napa is suppose to sell the COMPLETE kit for $84.....Ebay still wants 85 and up w/o the conversion kit....which is about $40 ea.

 

I have a set of warn manuals I'd trade for a set of autos if anyone is interested.
