well i sold a 96 ranger extcab that was beat all to heck 1 time 4 1500, it was 1000 to much in my opinion, seriuosly it was ragged out, i just didnt want to sell it cuase it was cheap on gas, so i priced so high i didnt think any1 would buy it, but...., a guy came and bought it so i couldnt pass up the money, kinda the same thing here, price it high cuase i really dont want to sell, but if som1 wants to buy i wont pass it up!!

Also, judging from the pics, the battery in it is a salvage yard battery. There's some things you go to a junk yard for, and some things you don't. If you lowball on a battery, what other corners on the upkeep might there be? I may be wrong, maybe there's circumstances involved, but things like that generally tell a lot about the overall condition of any vehicle. I got mine for $1800, nothing special, it's a VERY base model. The thing about it is the level of upkeep done on it, mine's got 213,??? miles on it, and it still runs better than most of them around here. I MIGHT get 3k for it AFTER I finish working on all the details I've been hobbying on. Even if I dumped 3k into some paint, and a complete overhaul. However, in the end, if you have something for sale long enough, SOMEONE will buy it eventually, but you might want to grab a snickers. Not trying to bash you, but the market for trucks has dropped off a LOT in the last 3 years, everyone's after Hondas. Also, if my truck had been a 302, I would have sold it after about a year of owning it, they break too easily for my tastes.

well, i understand every1s attitude towards the fact, it is a 5,0, it has a few miles, it is a salvage battery, but..... i bought it like that from my uncle, i know this truck, i did all the maitenence on it, battery was handy, i had it sitting around back last winter and he needed 1, so i gave it to him, but u got to remember, it may only be a body mod but it is rare, thats all there is to it, so i'll ask my price, if i dont sell it i wont cry, if i do i probablly will, but it is a rare truck, and for a hardcore collector, or a kid who has a taste for the theatrical, itll be worth it, so please dont knock it, its probablly the only thing ive ever had that was worth anything, were poor, cant help it, so dont knock my truck i love it, thats all that matters.

hey man no one is knocking your truck at all bud it is a very nice truck!! we are all just saying from experience what you would most likely be able to get for that truck and if i were you i would just put alitle tlc into the truck and just keep it after months and months of trying to sell my monster truck (my 89) i actually was happy i didnt cos i realized that i really didnt want to it was the same as you i just wanted to see if i could get some kid to buy it for what i was asking and thats no good reason for getting rid of my baby lol

I'm not knocking it either, hell I'm looking for an oldie like that for a work horse- but I am just saying that sensible person would pay $4000 for it unless your target is some starry-eyed kid looking to get into a sweet old pickup. I like the truck for its indiviuality but it is not that high caliber of a truck.
Good luck with the "perspective" sale.
