Default 10 minute runner

I have a 93 F150 4wd with a 302. When the engine is cold, it starts and idles okay, but doesn't take gas very well, it has a slight hesitation to it. If I drive it a couple blocks down the road and back, the hesitation gets worse, and if I shut if off, it won't start without holding the gas pedal to the floor. Then, when I do manage to get it running again, if I let off the pedal, it will stall and sometimes backfire through the exhaust, and occasionally shoot flame out the exhaust. It blows black smoke out the exhaust and smeels extremely rich. I recently had to change the oil because it had gas in the oil. I've put new injectors in it, a new TPS, MAP, and idle air sensors, as well as a new ICM. I have checked to make sure the distributor is set right and set the timing. I've pulled the check engine codes, and the only ones that came up were for the ECT. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be, I'm gettin tired of throwin parts at it with no result.

Sounds like a number of different issues. I'd check all the vacuum lines. Also, I've heard of a situation where a fuel pump didn't shut off and pumped the block full of fuel. Not sure of the details.

The ECT is important.

Without the ECT the pcm won't go into closed loop operation. That's why they put these codes in here. Test the ECT and repair the known problem then we can work from there.

Another reason for an ECT code would be your thermostat is stuck open or has been removed. ECT replacement however is a cheap & easy date. Not a bad idea to replace anyway. A critical sensor, until it signals the ECU that norm op temp has been reached, you will run in over rich cold start/ warm up mode.
