With a 4000# trailer and 10% tongue weight, that's only 400# TW, or less if you go down to 5%.

Don't think you even need a hitch receiver.
Just mount a ball on your bumper.
If I'm reading it right, the 2015 Ford Tow brochure says the bumper is good to 500/5000#.
