Didn't think I'd have liked the bronze when you first mentioned it, but seeing pics of them on the truck, they look really nice. Almost makes we wish I got the Magnetic (I got a '17 in blue)

You mentioned you were getting 305/70/18 (34.81x12), but your sig says 305/65/18 (33.61x12).

Which size did you end up getting?

Do you see much loss of power/mpg/handling with these on?

The bronze looks outstanding on blue. Not Blue Jeans, but a few of the other, brighter ones.

My sig is correct. I was hoping no one would catch that and I didn't bother to correct the post. They don't make a 305/70/18.

6,xxx miles

I had a busy day yesterday. Removed fender and tailgate badges and separated them. Painted the black bits black. Removed and cut the antenna. Removing 8" and reinstalling the ball leaves it above the roofline, but not so much that it's going to get beat up by my garage door.

I installed the camera housing in my custom grille and painted the honeycomb black. I have another thread going on that here.

Today I'm planning to paint the door handles, mirror caps, emblems, and whatever else I can prep that needs to be Magnetic.

EDIT: Almost forgot... I applied matte black vinyl to the door pillars. The passenger side came out fine, but I screwed up the driver side due to the keypad. I ordered replacement wrap and will reapply when it arrives.

My temporary paint booth...

The application is going well. Clearcoat will go on shortly. The two boneheaded things I've done:
  1. tried to blow up a rubber glove while wearing a respirator
  2. kicked over my paint can and lost a pint of J7

Over the weekend, I installed the grille, mirror caps, door handles, and fender badges. They aren't perfect because my painting skills leave a lot to be desired, but they're a huge improvement.

Today, I updated my mirror fold to Lincoln style via FORScan. I like it way better this way.

I'm planning an off-road trip with a Jeep buddy next Monday, so I'm going to be applying a thick coat of wax on the newly-painted parts. Until then, I'm more or less leaving the truck alone. Updated photos to come...

Today I installed OEM SE headlights and waxed the mirror caps, grille, and door handles. The truck needs a deep cleaning, but I'm going to wait until after a trail run on Monday. It's coming together nicely, and I'll see how the painted parts hold up to brush scratches in a few days. I'm not sure I'm happy with the grille, but maybe it'll grow on me.

I actually like this grille over the DOOD/FORD Raptor version.

I'm not going to lie, when I first saw the bronze rims on a Platinum I thought you were nuts. but with the grille and PTM parts it's coming together really well. I presume you plan to get rid of the chrome bumper center as well?
