Reason why most of the guys are telling you to go cold air is because K&N's cloud the MAF, screws your AF's up. FME I ran a K&N for quite some time. It was okay at first, tried like hell to keep the MAF spotless. Didn't matter how I recharged, the MAF would eventually mist w/oil. Come to find out later, I had grains of sand or dirt inside the intake tube. Those filters won't filter at a consistently level. Recharged it perfectly, had down to a science. Once I Noticed crap inside the intake tube, I was done with it.
