Default window won't roll up

Have a 2005 supercrew lariat and having trouble with the passenger side window. All switches work including this one but it only rolls down not up? Bad switch or something?

It could just be a dirty connection in the switch. They are easy to take apart and clean. I had to do my drivers side one on Sat. I ended up having to replace the whole pod. It's very common according to the parts guy at the dealership.

Anything needed to clean it? Did you take the whole door panel off?

They carry electrical contact cleaner at Home Depot and auto supply stores. It comes in a spray can. That is what I used + a little compressed air. I had this problem on my 08 FX4 screw. Driver's side did not work on occasion.

I used a little rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. The door panel doesn't need to come off. Get a small flat head screwdriver and pop the top of the armrest off where the switch is. Mine is an 06 so I'm sure they're the same.

It's probably just a carbon build up on the switch. Do a search in this forum and there is a good step by step procedure with pictures on how to fix. No, you don't have to take your door panel off. It takes a couple of Q-tips, a screwdriver, some rubbing alcohol and about 15 minutes to do but you have to take the window switch out and take the switch apart to clean off the carbon. Beleive me it is really easy. If you can't find it shoot me a note and I'll find it for you. I hate to have Ford get money for nothing.
