btw i have a very trusted local mechanic that charges $200 parts and labor for the tune up!!! the plugs arent that hard to pull out, its a con
before u go to pick it up get some ky and lube up. maybe it wont hurt so bad

I'll tell you what. I'd rather have a Ford and it's problems, rather than all the other POS trucks on the market.
I might have been able to save a couple bucks with a private mechanic, or he could have made it worse? So, at this point - spending $1,260 on repairs is a drop in the bucket considering I got 105,000 miles on the truck with zero issues.
Other than brakes, tires and a battery. My 2005 F150 is a great truck !

Forget all the good stuff I said about Ford, they are big pieces of crap, just like all the rest.
My dealer called me with "bad news".
He wants me to pay for the heads to be removed b/c they can't get one plug out, period. All he said, was this could cost thousands of dollars.
Great, just great.
Solutions:
Don't pay them anything, don't make my payments, and let the bank take it away.
See if they would be will to trade it in, for another POS.
See if they will work something out with me, b/c there is no way in hell I'm going to spend $5,000 to change my spark plugs....

truck dies while driving
I have a 98 f150 other day truck died in line to get food wouldnt start back up cranked but no start. I come back few hours later it starts so one way home it dies door locks go up and down like i turned it off then it start again died 5times before i made it home any help would be great....
