1. yes that is correct, just make sure you're in the ford section

2. $399 plus tax is what i paid

3. yep, plug-nplay, just follow the prompts on the screen. it takes 35-40 minutes to reflash.

1 - I see from the VMP site there is a "programmer/flasher" device. Am I correct that I need to buy that, AND the actually tuning that I want?

2 - What is the total average price for this? From above, I'm not 100% certain what is involved.

3 - Easy to do? Does this just plug into the same port as my OBDII reader?

Thanks guys!

Got a new truck Friday, so, I'm starting off with a Superchips since it was only $299 on sale ... no shipping or tax. The Superchips offers what I need. A little later down the road when I do LT headers and other power adders, I'll be tuning ity myself. There are a lot of good products out there and I'll report back whether the Superchips does me well as in the past. It's a conservative tune with good results ... at least in my experiences.

im a know-nothing when it comes to programmers and tunners. but after reading your posts, it seems like superchips may be the way i should go as well. i just want a little "something" to help out with the bigger tire size, and improve the sluggish stock settings. you think this is the product im looking for for my '10 FX2 4.6L? i would like to know the results when you install yours as well. thanks

Well, easy smeasy, on the 4.6 2-valve, there's not much power gain, but, throttle response, shift firmness and tire sisze calibration would be worth it for sure. On the 4.6 3-valve, you'll also see a little better power gains, as well. Mine should be here this week - hopefully tomorrow. I'll let you know how it feels.
