Well so much for that fix. Snap returned 4 days after the TSB with park to reverse. However it no longer makes multiple (3-5) snaps when maneuvering, now its just 1. I already left a message with the service manager so we will see. The dealer was very good about stating they will do their best. I get the feeling there is no good fix for this and a lot of owners are just not noticing it or don't care.

Anyone know if the 2015 has any changes to the driveline that would resolve this? I got such a deal on this truck that its worth far more to sell or trade than I have in it.
So trading into a 2015 may be an option but I bet I would have a lot more issues with a new design. Maybe Toyota? This truck is incredibly comfortable for me at 6-5 265 all the other makes seem tight on the interior

My click in reverse is back after getting the TSB done. So it's at another dealership which is blaming it on my trailer hitch. I mean really how lazy have techs gotten? Without the hitch in I can make it click and they can't replicate it.

What's your truck's model year and mileage, flyinfry? I'll check out some options to help.

I've also had my truck in for this problem twice now and after one day i is back again. I'm getting sick of it. It's pretty embarrasing driving a brand new truck and when I pulled away from a rusty 20 year old cavalier that makes no noises, having them point and kind of laugh that my $50,000 dollar 10,000 kms truck is cracking and snapping like crazy when i pull away from them! What my concern is, is that the dealer keeps telling me it is safe to drive, the noise isn't anything serious, but since they don't know what's causing the noise, how do they know it's not serious, I mean a snapping, cracking sound seems kind of serious to me... if there isn't a true fix to this soon, it might be time to look into something else.

Autonation Ford of Miami has done so much to my truck finally replaced drive shaft and guess what......
the **** still happens
the Ford CSM Mario that I talked to on the phone said,"It's just a annoying problem that is engineered in to the vehicle"......bull****

I recorded the conversation too, JUST LIKE FORD DOES
I want to CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT Ford because this is a problem that does NOT go away with replacing the drive shaft.
It is a TRANSMISSION problem (and probably that double clutch plates system they were trying out for the 6 speed transmission BUT I bet it has been "engineered out" of the 2015 Aluminum models)

How have you been harmed or what is your loss from the rear end click?

Has your rear axle stopped operating correctly because of this click? Has your driveshaft failed as part of this click? Has your brakes stopped working because of this click? Nobody in this thread has suffered a single bit of damage from this sound. It's happening to me too and I agree it sucks, but honestly what harm is this issue causing you, aside from being a nuisance based on poor engineering? The harm to Ford on the other hand is unsatisfied buyers who maybe should have thought twice about the competition. I know I sure will with my next truck.

I believe this guy figured out the problem.

I can replicate the sound on my truck by lifting the rear tires off the ground, shifting into neutral (truck off), apply the parking brake and try rotating the tires back and forth...you will hear the click..not sure how to fix this.
