They are USELESS, they are people who as stated are call center no real world experience morons who as stated regurgitate what you said and pass it on to the dealer which is not well taken. They do no good and waste your time. It is the make you feel good reach around that goes around and around and gets no where. I lost too much in my 2010 Escape and learned that if you want customer service and don't get it, get rid of it because Ford will run you around until you are so fed up you don't want the vehicle anymore. It is by far one of the worst customer service schemes I have seen.

caperj,

I'm sorry to hear that you have been through this run around too. It sounds like your experience has mirrored mine.

not really...i dealt with this place LONG before i got a job there...between me and my dad we bought 4 vehicles from them and they all are serviced there and every time they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy...my dads first fusion the dealer made a mistake on and forgot to torque the caliper bolts...so of course they replaced the caliper BUT they also gave it a complete detail, full tank of gas and the next service was free...just like on my 14 where i had a small grease spot on the leather no big deal..i was more worried about it happening to a customer car than mine...my next service is free as well

djfllmn,

Give me a break. You, working for the dealership, gives you a HUGE advantage.

As for getting rid of my truck because the A/C doesn't work properly is simply assinine. It has been said before and it is still absurd. I live on a pension and saved for years to get this truck and it must last for many years. Trading it on another truck is out of the question. Give your head a shake. Do you own yours or lease it?

One day you could be walking in my shoes and realize that life is not as simple as you think.

djfllmn,

I did not start this post to argue with you. I'm looking for ways to fix my A/C.

Leasing your truck allows you to roll it over on a new one in relatively short time frames. I don't have that option. If I don't croak first, I plan to have this truck another 12 years or more.

I've worked at a Ford dealer in the past and I got price breaks on parts, service and assistance with claims as well. Are you trying to tell me that you don't get the same. I'll bet that you even got preferential lease rates without any haggling.

Now, can we please get back to the A/C issue.
