Have you guys had this shutter since new? Or how many miles roughly is the consensus does it start shuttering?

Trade it. My '11 was never right after the misfire. Replaced a cat and flashed and added a deflector, etc. My '13 has been flawless (knock on wood) since I got it.

I bought a 2014 super crew XLT 4x4 off road ecoboost yesterday night. In the past 24hrs I have already experienced two problems.

I noticed a shake in the truck around 60mph that the salesman said was flat spots on the tires, so I thought nothing of it. After having driven it yesterday evening and today I'm convinced it's the shake that many people have mentioned with the new F-150s.

While I was driving it today the truck began sputtering/stalling and had almost no power. The check engine light began flashing and finally went solid and stayed on. I called the Grapevine Ford, where I purchased the truck, and took the truck in for repair. They said they couldn't take care of it today, but would look at it in the morning. I'm having them look into the "shake" as well while it's there. They gave me a loaner focus instead of a similar F-150.

I wouldn't expect that a truck with an MSRP of 45k would have mechanical issues literally from day 1!! I really hope they figure this out!

Above is the info asked for from page 1 by OP.

After 2+ years of this thread, what is the verdict?

I have had,
1)reprogram 2)deflector 3)new spark plugs
4) turbo sensor and accompanying wiring harness (this week)

What's next? can I keep this thing or do I need to trade it

Dealer says no new inter-cooler until it throws a code
So when the service engine warning came on this time......I DID NOT SHUT THE TRUCK OFF! (Which reset the code and makes code disappear)
This is when they got the turbo sensor code,
After this fix? no shutter, less power from the turbo, lower mpg (by 1.5)
The truck is .....what should I say....more domesticated?
seems to have lost it's "zip'
But it has lost it's shuttering, temperamental, intermittent rattling at idle!
Not sure this is what the OP had in mind to include in this thread, but there it is. Good luck guys,

Any "flat spots" from parking in hot or cold or extended time should smooth out after 5 minutes of highway speed as the tires warm up and become more pliable and elastic.
Both my F150's have had a rear vibration that feels like tire balance (50-60 mph). Always left rear tire area. You can see the box hopping up and down on a smooth road at the left rear in the rear view mirror. No matter what tire/wheel combo or re balancing they do it. I think it is a harmonic vibration coming from the drive train. It seems to fade in and out while driving. Around gentle right hand curves it gets more pronounce, sometimes fades away. Frustrating characteristic of the vehicle.
I don't confuse this "balance vibration" shudder with engine miss, which i seem to have missed with both my trucks. (knocking on wood right now...)

My oscillating vibration starts at 72 mph and continues up to as fast as I've driven 85 mph.

Haven't seen anyone put a GoPro under the chassis while at speed. I'm going to see if I can commandeer one from an acquaintance.

I have a suspicion to find something similar to this occurring on our trucks.
