Agreed on this. However, I'm really surprised it was available that quick. A call to a respectable parts dealer (2 to be exact) said this part was at least a few months out (at least for consumer orders). Good to know it's out there.

I ordered about a two weeks ago from my local dealer (Ontario). They told me that it wasn't in stock in Canada but was in stock in the US. It came in yesterday.

If you're that paranoid then just pop the old hub back in before you take the truck in. But this part number was confirmed by Jim and others at Ford as compatible with the APIM and the 2.0 upgrade. I don't care about the lights, as I don't leave the compartment open when I connect my phone.

Sure...but is it really paranoia? Maybe you haven't dealt with the types of dealerships I have but it's not paranoia...it's very much the status quo nowadays to be hassled about things like this as stupid as it is and as much as I can argue that they're wrong. To me...I'll just wait to get the right part. More power to you if you don't care about those things...

How do you know it works? What are you seeing that is different? My 2016 King Ranch also has the V2 Sync 3.0.

New here.. but been following for a while. Forgive me if I am breaking a rule but I ordered the HC3Z-19A387-B through this ford OEM eBay store this morning. It was shipped and I had a tracking number within 90 minutes. As of posting this there are still some in stock. Good luck guys!

Early bird gets the worm! Looking at it now I actually bought the "last one" this morning and then they re-listed it right after with a few more in stock at the link I gave. Same thing could possibly happen tomorrow for you other guys still trying. I just hope what arrives thursday is the part they listed, but judging from their reviews and history I am pretty confident it will be. In all honesty all I did was google the part number and their website and ebay store was the first to pop up so there may be others out there.

After I had the new module in and connected the phone, I immediately got a pop up on the sync screen asking if I wanted to enable carplay.

When I connect the phone I get the carplay screen that others have posted.

I also now have a carplay preferences item under sync settings and I have "Sync 3" listed under my car on the iphone carplay settings screen.

I ordered a GJ7Z19A387B from FordParts.com, but I'm not sure if the dealer actually has it in stock. I'll wait for it, anyway. Tasca was showing call for availability.
