Frozen or Inoperative Door Latch During Freezing Temps ***TSB 16-0155***
#12
Do you know if these TSB are the same for us here in Canada ?
I had this problem with one door last week early in the morning when it was about -2 degree celcius outside... One door wouldn't stay closed!

I am in Canada, My back doors would freeze up bad, Had the first tsb done last year, but then one froze up again in early spring. (would not open from inside or oustide). Will soon see whats in store I guess. Cold is on the way sooner or later. Have about 18 months left in my warranty so hopefully im good. If not here we go again. and the mildew smell got to figure out too

My passenger side door is the only one I have problems with.

I live in Alberta Canada and yes this TSB 16-0155 is the same up here, my truck has chronic frozen locks for 2 years now (2015 supercrew) to the point where my local dealer has even replaced all 4 door handles to attempt to fix with no success . Truck is at dealer today to this TSB 16-0155 performed. let's hope it works. FYI I have been in touch with Transport Canada due to safety concerns and they are monitoring this situation on my truck to the point where an accident investigator may attend the dealership to observe the repair and report finding back to Ottawa.

So is this for doors not opening or not latching shut? Last winter I found it a little harder to open sometimes, but only after washing it, and it froze the seals lol Other than that, no issues so far *fingers crossed*

Yes! Mine just started doing it this week! Had vehicles where the door seals would freeze, or the locks wouldn't unlock, but never one that wouldn't latch when trying to shut them! So frustrating! Only like -5 today!

I had my driver's door not latch properly last winter. Pretty sure they replaced the cable because it was frayed.. My truck was pretty much brand new at the time of the repair.
