Spiffier graphics, larger graphics, more animations, etc.

You can customize using a "my view" which allows you select graphs/pages without having to cycle through a ton of options (like MPG, power distribution/towing/etc).

The biggest one IMO is that it can display the nav directions on it, i.e. it'll show you a big green left arrow and the distance before you have to make the left turn.

Maybe...however the one I bought was also from a ecoboost, however it was a 4x4 so there were all sorts of DTCs and warning lights on the cluster, so again, I DID have to do this.....since my truck is 2wd

I have one inbound from a 5.0, and I'll see if that was the case. I think it might be.

Now, I agree that if you program the IPC with the wrong as-built, you'll have to redo a lot of programming. So best idea is to get an asbuilt from a VIN that is as closest to yours and you minimize the programming you have to do.

BTW, how much demand is there for these clusters?

It was either pay someone 100 bucks (plus shipping) to change it, or you can buy the tool for 75 dlls (google it, they are plentiful).

When I swapped mine, even using my as built, the incorrect mileage showed (from the donor truck). I have another on the way and I'll verify this (I dont wanna be talking out of my @$$)

Also, dealers can change it. My brother's cluster in his '13 F150 died of mechanical failure, he took it in, the dealer replaced it and had one less mile than before (the 10ths of a mile part).

I guess it depends on how good and willing the dealer is to do proper work. I have also seen dealers take the lazy way and just stick the decal in the door jamb.
I wasnt taking about the cluster. I was trying to say that you cannot change the actual mileage as it is LOCKED in the ECU. Sure Ford can change what the cluster is reading but what is in the ECU cannot be changed by us...... The dealership I went to had no clue that this cluster would even work in my truck since it didnt come with it. I had to push to get them to even program it using my data.....so each dealership is different.

New feature found tonite: Auto relock (If you press the unlock button on the remote control and do not open a door within 45 seconds, your vehicle locks)

BCM Module:
726-15-02 0000 0000 01xx - Auto relock enabled

Edit: haven't tested to see if it works with keypad also

Do you have keyless entry? I wonder if this works for us without it.

EDIT: yep, you're ballin' with a 701A

Obviously you have to have the key fob with you but....when you get out and close the door, you hear a beep, then when you walk about 6ft away you hear the vehicle lock. She has push button start, sooooo maybe you guys with push button start might have this option available. I dont, I have the stupid key...lol
This is something cool for the f150 what did you change?

I just enabled this feature using the "plain english" easy method. It was already there, just had to change it from disabled to b enabled. I have looked as best I can on my truck"s data and I don't see anything in "plain english" so if it is there it's a value that must be changed. My sister has a 2013 Escape, I'm going to see what it has available to change later today.

I'm guessing the approach detection is the auto lock/unlock feature someone mentioned enabling on their Mazda......?
