Will this allow me to change some things that IDS would? Such as: Fake engine noise shut off? Switch to "Dark Mode" for cargo light? Change or turn off the delay on my 12 volt charging outlets?

Thanks

Thanks everyone for this! Did this today everything worked great. Right on the money.

I had a Chinese blue tooth ODB device I use with the torque app, I used that and it worked perfect, no issues.

I had to apply the latest Sync update before it would apply the nav files. Before I applied the Sync update kept giving me an error that one or more of my install files were incorrect. Once I downloaded and applied the latest Sync update the nav download installed no problems.

I added the seat buttons and climate also per the instructions. Not sure if I am going to keep that or not. Since I have the XLT 302a some of the climate buttons of course do not work. All the buttons under my panel work on the MFT. The fan control and the temperature **** do not, so you also can not set max AC. Most of the buttons that don't work are greyed out which is nice. Just the fan control and dual temperature +/- appear like they will work but don't. Easy enough to change back if I decide I don't like it.

Got my SD card ordered, excited for it to arrive and give the factory Nav a try.

Thanks again!

Wow, I'd really love to do this, but think it might be above my level of computer knowledge. I get lost about the time the directions tell me to extract the zip file and save it to the "root usb." I have twp questions, 1. is there anyway someone could post an expanded directions page, maybe with some pictures to help? ad 2. is there anyone in tampabay area, that knows howto do this, that is willing to help. Thanks guys.

It's over my head also,, but I did learn how to get files into the root USB to do the 3.8 upgrade the other day.

Hint put shortcut to the USB drive on desktop and just drag the files into it.
