Sooner or later Dodge is going to put that Hellcat engine (or a derivative) in a RAM and wouldn't doubt if a blown LT motor found its way into GM's trucks. We need a Trinity type replacement that can pull truck duty and it needs to go into the next Raptor and Lightning...yes we need both! (Damn the business models! ) Unless Ford plans to switch the block of the 3.5 over to CGI like the 2.7 motor then a V8 is the only way to get there.

Though I know this thread is long dead, I've been wondering something.

ha, no. Like tan leather and a rustic feel, like the king ranch. All the packages for raptors now are sporty or just black.

Nope...don't think Ford will bend the Raptor that way. Also, Ford will want to retain the KR exclusivity as well.

I think the bigger question right now is will it have an Ecoboost engine or a version of the new 5.2L flat plane crank engine in the '16 GT350.

I Highly doubt it. The torque is not going to be there down low which is just the way a flat plane makes it's power.
