Take it to the dealer ASAP. Have you ever taken it to the dealer for anything? Oil change or whatever? They should some sort of accounting for mileage which would prove that the current mileage impossible.

More than likely the fault is in the cluster. The correct mileage will be in the PCM. No need for guesstimates or trying to prove anything.

Well that's the thing, I do my own maintenance, haven't been to the dealer since they replaced the frozen door latches a little over a year ago. So wonder how that's going to work.

Interesting you bring that up. I figured the OLM would say oil life at a few thousand %... nope.



But if you do the math, average speed is about 750mph! I think I'll have this screen on when I stop at the dealer tommorrow. Not even sure how to begin explaining this to the guy at the service counter.

That would be nice if they could just reprogram the cluster, or replace it. But I thought I read somewhere (here?) that if the PCM and cluster don't match within 50 miles it will prevent the truck from starting, eventually.
