Yeah, looks like it. I also noticed the rounded corner buttons are a dark gray instead of black like the hazard/360 buttons.

I have the hill descent control as a factory option and never use it, i always use 4 low and lock out gears. 4 low works much better and doesn't over heat and wear out your breaks.

Good job though on figuring it out.

Uhm Livnitup, how many wires are in the harness in your truck that goes to the HDC and TC module??? I just pulled mine and noticed 4! I say this because in the switch itself there are 6 prongs. Have a pic of your harness?

I wonder if it works on 2WD? IF I understand the operating principles, it only controls the ABS module and not the power to the driven wheels.

Wonder if that's why it's called just hill descent and not hill assent/descent?

Rumor is Ford was recalling all these switches as so many orders came pouring in they thought there was a major problem with them..

But they happened across this and the Forscan thread and figured out what was going on!!

So now all orders for this switch must show the VIN and include a copy of the vehicle's title to prove you are entitled to buying one..

just kidding,,,,,,, I hope
