Is the door jamb sticker an accurate place to get my Build Date to determine which parts I need?

Not really. It will get you the month/year but not the exact day. There are several places you can get the build date. I use Oasis because I have access to it. If you would like, PM me with your VIN # and I will be glad to look for you.

I have added the XLT tow mirrors to my XLT. Right now I am using an 8 pin to 22 pin harness so I do not have the spot lights or puddle lamp working yet. I have the parts and will be adding the new wiring harness' and spot light hardware soon. My question is since I am not adding power fold or bliss and just spot light and puddle lamps, do I need new door modules? Any help would be appreciated.

You will not need new door modules. I replace my harnesses and have 22-pin tow mirrors with working running lights and spotlights. I am using my original door modules.

I did not know you could just swap the harnesses and still use original XLT door modules. Great info!

Did you need to do any programming in Forscan?

Yes. I had to program the spotlights in both door modules and enable the switch. I also had to enable the puddle lamps. That was it. The running lights just worked.

you would need pretty much everything. mirrors, windows switch, lariat harness for each door and ddm/pdm for a blissful truck from 18
