Looking forward to it. These seem to have a really nice white color and not too blue like other 6-6500k kits.

Pierre-Charles Dube,
Thanks for taking the shots and trying them on a 2018 truck.

I hope it's okay I took your high and low beam shots and created an animated GIF to make a good side by side comparison without having to scroll up and down.

Mike

Looking at this makes the OEM halogens look like ford strapped two 80’s flash lights on the front end of my18 XLT

Hey guys! I finally got around to taking some decent night pictures for you to compare. The first 2 pictures make it clear that the SL-1 bulbs cast a nice focused beam pattern. The lows also have a pretty decent cut-off. When I installed these, I did have to adjust the beam down a bit and I have yet to be flashed by oncoming traffic. Hopefully these pictures will entice someone who may be on the fence to just take the plunge and get these things. You won't be sorry! Taken from about 25 ft from garage door: SL-1 lows and SL-F fogs.

Will you guys that posted pics please provide the year of your truck? I don’t see any signatures or any other info on your rigs. Thanks.

Those are some really great shots, thanks! I’m hoping to see something similar from some 2018 installs and I’m sold.

As you can see from the pictures, there is no throw down the road on the high beams. It just gets brighter in front of the truck. I'm very happy with the output on low beam, but something seems wrong with the high beams. I'm hoping Diode Dynamics is monitoring this thread. Just for reference I adjusted 25 ft from the wall measuring to the middle of the low beam and then adjusting the light output to the same height on the wall. On a side note, every exterior bulb on my truck is now Diode Dynamics LEDs including the switchback parking light/turn signals which are awesome! I will post some pictures of my truck later.
Maybe it’s just me, but the pattern isn’t very uniform on the lows either. I’ve had the same experience with LED bulbs

His beam problem was solved a few pages back. Seems improperly seated bulbs caused the ghosting.

I believe some of the ghosting you are seeing is because of DD switchback bulbs I have installed in the parking/turns. They are frickin bright! They are awesome BTW, I will take some pictures of my truck from the exterior for you guys to see what they all look like together.
