I have a Revolver X2. I’ve had it since I bought my truck last April. It doesn’t block the entire rear window when fully open like folding ones do. (Yes, the roll prevents the bed opening from being fully open but it hasn’t been an issue for me.). It also doesn’t permanently take up bed volume like retractable ones do. It doesn’t leak.

I had one on my last truck for about 2 years. My good experience with it led me to purchase another.

Beautiful truck! I have a Truxedo roll up cover on my Colorado but not a fan other than low cost. Velcro side closures and straps wore out and the vinyl is cracking. After 8 years it is about done. That's why I went with a hard retractable design this time around.

Line that bad boy with a Bedrug, then put a Undercover Ultra Flex over it.

I second (third, fourth?) the Bakflip MX4. My brother sells truck accessories and stocks multiple brands and he swears the Baks are the best. He really likes the Bak revolver but it wasn't for me. If you're going to go that route, hold out for the x4, in matte.

Im interested in the X4 also wonder when its gonna be out to our forum sponsors....I originally was going to get the x2 as my MX4 which I really liked, was destroyed by hail. Its very soft so be careful plopping anything on top of it. Otherwise I would recommend the MX4 as well.

+1 on the MX4 and the bedrug. There are lots of outdated tonneau designs out there that do not work nearly as well as the MX4. The paint-to-match Peragon is the most beautiful to look at IMHO, but a bit less practical for people who actually use the bed.

If it is a work truck and haul lots of gravel, wood chips, bricks, pallets sliding in, etc, then do the linex. If you just haul normal groceries, Home depot stuff, etc then the bedrug is the way to go.YMMV

I’d love to give a definitive No but can’t answer. Being made with aluminum slats covered with vinyl it’s fairly stout in terms of weight that could be out on it (snow). The ice of course is a different issue which likely would have some effect on any tonneau. You can still open the tailgate for access with the cover closed.

Hands down the lomax is the best. It can be removed in seconds and is basically as low profile as it gets, while still keeping the bed dry.

Also pricey at $1200, but what the heck after spending so much on the truck.
Did the exact same thing this week. Linex premium in my 5.5 with the gatortrax retractable in matte black. Very happy with it. Just waiting for it to loosen up.
