Lomax tri fold removable tonneau cover.

Who's got this cover?
How well does it hold back water?
Anybody with some honest reviews on this cover post here..
I Just bought a new 17 crew cab short bed.
I'm torn between this and the backflip MX.
I like this one better because it's removable and low profile..
Looking for pics, prices and best places to buy..
Thanks in advance guys!

There are 2 links to threads about the Lomax and below is one about the cover I went with instead, the Leer Trilogy X2T.

I have a Lomax for about six months now. No issues to report and for water intrusion I don't know since I haven't really checked for it.

How has it been holding up to actually being removed and installed?
I have the factory drop in bedliner on my truck so hopefully that helps with it's water repelling ability.
I was gonna buy the backflip mx4 but the drain tubes, gutter channels and the lack of removability are not enticing at all

I checked amazon last night and saw the cover listed with 1 remaining. Prob the same buyer you dealt with judging by the reviews.
I wonder if you got the gen 1 lomax since I have read that they have been updated.
As much as I love Amazon's convenience, I have had issues with with them sending me stale or outdated inventory masquerading as new. I'm coming from a paint 2 match bed lid on my 04 which was a love/hate relationship, and I'm never going back.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I sent truckalter "Luke"? a pm, looking to pull the trigger asap on that cover.

I've yet to see this cover in person yet.
Are there any 'longer-term' updates on the Lomax cover? It sounds like the early flex-hinge adhesion problems have been updated by Access. Are the updated bonded on 'hinges' holding up over usage? Do the panel sections have any 'twist' when folding sections due to the vinyl hinges having too much play in them?
How is the bed rail seal holding up (the 90 deg. bend when the cover is folded seems like it would stretch/wear the seal)?
Also - how about the panel finish - fairly scratch resistant? The plastic standoffs on the panel frame seem like they might scuff the finish while sitting on the class-A panel surface (in the cover folded position) due to normal chassis vibrations.
This cover is at the top of my list waiting on an '18 order - thanks.
