Default 275/60/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 On Factory Wheels

I've seen so many threads on tire size and fitment so I thought I'd throw one in from my experience.

My truck suspension is factory except for the Firestone airbags in the rear. According to Nitto, the 275/60/20 G2 is 33" tall. They rub on the mud flaps when the wheel is turned to full lock and I hit a bump. I trimmed the inside edge of the mudflaps a bit and have no clearance issues now.

Checking with my GPS, the speedometer is around 1.5 MPH slower than the real truck speed - at 60 MPH the speedo indicates 58-59 MPH.

The Nittos are just a tad bit louder than the Hankook ATs that came on the truck. The ride is smooth and traction has been excellent so far.

I have a good friend who owns a tire shop so I got them for $177 each. I wanted to go with the BFG KO2s but couldn't pass up this deal.

So far I've put 500 miles on them and I am very satisfied.

I have the same tire on mine with a 2" level and haven't had any rubbing. I have the ford mud flaps and 10k on my tire's. They seem to do good in snow and ride smooth. I thought it said they would be 1.5 faster than what speedo said, maybe i'm wrong.

I am about to try that same size but in a "P" rating on the TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T 2s at $209 each(You got a smoking deal) Is your NITTOs the "P" rated?

Would love to see pictures if you get a minute! Have a 4x2, stock stance, and have been looking at these tires, with a 2in level, but have been unsure what route to go.

Can't recommend the Ridge Grapplers enough, absolutely great tires and I'd say they're on par with the KO2s I had on before, for quite a bit less money.

Question for you guys. Never had a lifted truck or really delved into in. Currently have a 2010 King Ranch on Bridgestone Duelers ,275/55 on Factory KR 20" wheels. So a couple "opinion" questions:

1. If I put these Nitto G2's on there would I need a leveling kit? (I have 2wd)
2. Would this tire ruin the smooth ride of my KR on highway?

I ride mostly highway/surface streets, but just want something a little more aggressive for going on any dirt/gravel/grass, etc. We do have a 28' Travel trailer for camping etc as well. Just looking for a few opinions and a little education. Thanks!
