That's great feedback. Thank you for all of your replies. I will pull the trigger on the Husky in the morning. If I have a different experience with them, I'll let you all know. Thanks again.

I agree with the person who commented about switching to regular pair of shoes after practice/games. Cleats wear down much faster when used on anything but a playing field so they should be switching to regular shoes anyways, if you care to hear my opinion ðŸ˜.

Either way, I love my X-Act Contours (front and back). One thing I didn't love was the initial smell they put in my truck but that went away eventually (1-2 weeks).

Bringing up an old thread--but still pertains to my question!!

Those that have the Rear X-act contour mat did you get the full or half one, they say even with the full mat you can still add their under seat Gearbox on top of the mat or what other utility box do you use under the seat? can I get a couple pictures of your setup before I order--trying to decide what version I want to get thanks!!

LMAO, I still have the ford rubber mats and those have held up fine. I dont worry about soccer cleats as they are plastic and not sharp. My daughter's softball cleats are similar. I do try to discourage my son from wearing his baseball cleats however since they are metal and leave marks in the steps up to the porch of our house I figure they have much higher potential to damage floor mats.

As for the guy asking about kids wearing stuff home. Lots of times for rec sports, there is just a field, noplace to change. That said, about the only stop we would make is for food or drinks, we would go home before anyplace like a mall but I can see that too if you've traveled an hour or two to the game. I don't see anyone out and about in cleats though (other than fast food or convenience stores.

FWIW, they don't allow the players to wear baseball cleats on the bus but they have no issue with soccer cleats. The players change their shoes in the dugout for baseball and they change on the bus for soccer.

I don't use an under-seat storage bin, but I'd still go with the full mat even if I did. It's not even $20 more but covers a lot of area that would end up getting dirty otherwise -- dirt flings off boots, wind blows, drinks spill, kids being kids, dirty rain/snow falls in, etc. Especially around the door trim, where the full mat gives almost full front to back doorway coverage. Take a look at my mats -- if they were even just 4" shorter I'd have a lot of sand stuck in the crevice between the trim and carpet near the rear of the door that the full mat has covered up fine.

EDIT: just realized this is two years old LOL, but in the case that someone else reads it... the full rear mat should not be moving around. Maybe he had the half, I'm not sure why you wouldn't buy the full rear mat

sounds like you have a problem them. Mine fits so tights its annoying to even take out.

Did you tuck it under the rear storage trim piece under the back seat? That lip slides up underneath there, there's no way for it to move like that
