The early 2015-17 wheels look much better on your truck in my opinion. Nice looking truck, enjoy the new ride.

The 15-17 wheels look much better. Were the standard King Ranch wheels on the 18 changed too?

Thugzy....
sorry to derail your thread but had a quick question.
It seems you have the ideal 5.0 which is with 3.73 gears.
And also the ideal 3.5 with sec gen eco & 10 speed.

Since you have a better bases for comparison by owning both what are your thoughts between the two engines and gear combos?
Can you summarize what your thoughts are in regards to power, feel & MPG with no bias towards the trim or model year differences of the trucks themselves?

Hi Dannytexas, I've only had my 18 for a few days now. I will do a more in depth comparo in a few weeks.

In a very short answer.... Both have a very different driving dynamic, power delivery and ride. The EB has incredible torque, the Coyote loves its high rpm HP.

The 2018 rides better over choppy bad roads

Economy (50/50 city/highway.. A few jackrabbit starts)
2018: 11.8 L/100km.... All in Eco mode, start stop OFF
2015: 15.0 L/100km..... Its a pig in the city

I'll report in a few weeks and let u know

Cheers

One thing about the new wheels, look at the actual rim where the tire bead sits. They no longer have a lip, so when you go to get it aligned, if they don't have the proper heads, they can't do an alignment. Ran into that with my dealer, they had to order new heads at a cost of $1800. I looked at the new trucks on the lot and pretty much all the wheels are like that now.
