Default Swapping the 20" PVD wheels between my '15 and '18

I am thinking of swapping wheels between my two Lariats.

I still like the PVDs on my '15 better than the '18...

At least if I give my '15 the '18 wheels it will look refreshed a bit.

My '15 is Platinum white, so the OWL tires look better.

My '18 is Ruby red, and I'm thinking of turning the tires inside so they are Black wall

Here is my '15 Lariat Coyote

My '18 3.5 EB is like this one but Lariat

The '15-17 20" PVD's are some of the best looking wheels ever, by anybody. None of the '18 model wheels are super impressive to me.....nice, but lack the "pop" of the '15-17 PVD's.

I say go for it, and post some pix!

You will have to swap the sensors between the wheel sets or have them programmed to "talk" with the truck. I would definately put the white walls in on the 18'. My vote is go for it.

I liked the wheels from my 14 so much that they are now on my 16. Now to find someone who would want to buy my 18" chromes with like new tires. I just put a set of BFGoodrich Adventure T/A Sport LT's on and they ride very nice.

Been thinking of painting the pockets to match the truck. If it wasn't for the chrome o the truck, I would paint them black instead.

As for the TPMS, if the 15 displays tire pressure, then they will work on the 18 as well.

Very nice. I actually like some of the earlier generation wheels better because they have an "edgier" appearance. Most of the new wheels are more rounded and don't fit the sharper lines of the 2015+ trucks. I'm currently running some wheels from a 2008 lariat.
