Has anyone ever had trouble from the dealer with the weephole? As in, have they discovered it and denied warranty work?

Also, have any of you guys removed the factory CAC deflector that was meant as a poor attempt at correcting condensation issue? In my mind, if the issue is fixed by the weephole, there is no reason to reduce the efficiency of the intercooler and it could come off.

I took the deflector off when I drilled the hole a year or two ago.
Anything Ford has tried to do did not cure it for me. The hole did.
Imagine that.

One member posted they replaced his cac due to it leaking under warranty. Mine has been to the dealer multiple times and they have never said a thing. And I do not clean the oil off the plastic either.

Have a '14 Screw FX4, 55000 miles. Decided to drill the weep hole. The only hesitation I feel is at light throttle, normally when the engine is cold. Nothing came out of the hole after drilling it, or taking it for a quick spin around the block. Is it possible I the hole isn't deep enough?

I don't see where you drilled it. I drilled up through the metal crosspiece, and through the CAC. I had stuff come out later. However, if you didn't have anything come out after running it a while (especially when it is humid or raining) then you may not have went all the way through. Shoot, there is nothing there to hurt, run the drill as far up in it as it will go. It's just empty space.
And on the other side, perhaps you don't run it in a manner that will cause it to ingest the moisture. Who knows.

You're a bit high on the hole (circled). I think the lowest point is along the seam (arrows).
I drilled my new 2016 within a few days of getting it. The blow off valves are dumping way more air all the time than that tiny hole. The mid 80s volvo with the factory hole had far less emission requirements than today. Ford can't officially make this a fix with the EPA requirements that exist.

Give it time.

Also do the throttle reset on your truck and see if that helps with the hesitation .

Just had the dealer fix a leaking left-side exhaust manifold under the power train warranty. I was a bit nervous that some jackwad might try to tie the issue to the weep hole but they either didn't notice or didn't care. All good now.

He said scientific, not subjective. Subjective is "I don't feel or perceive any power loss".
